Celesta Alaniz
Celesta’s passion for hair began at a young age, long before it became her career. As a teen, she was always styling hair for her family—blowouts and flat ironing for loved ones, and haircuts for her brother. Although her professional journey didn’t start immediately, and even led her briefly into restaurant management, she quickly realized that path wasn’t for her. Knowing hair was truly her calling, Celesta chose to invest in herself by joining a salon that emphasized education and long-term career growth—and from there, the rest is history.
A defining milestone in Celesta’s career came when she placed in the top 10 at a competitive hair show with over 40 contestants. The experience was both validating and motivating, opening doors to participate in more shows and allowing her to help mentor and support younger staff members. Her favorite techniques include men’s fades, which she loves for the precision and skill they require to perfect, as well as defrizzing treatments that help clients achieve smoother, more manageable hair.
Celesta stays inspired and up to date by keeping a close eye on hair trends through social media, magazines, and the ever-evolving creativity she sees daily in the salon. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her soon-to-be toddler, playing pool, and socializing at lounges and bars. Her love for connection and conversation naturally carries into her work behind the chair, where building relationships and creating a welcoming experience often leads to meeting—and gaining—new guests.
