Kathy Fields
Kathy transitioned from a career in social work and recreational therapy to massage therapy, driven by her passion for helping others in a more hands-on way. Having worked extensively with special needs and geriatric populations, as well as serving as a rehabilitation specialist in a drug and alcohol treatment facility, she sought a profession that would allow her to continue her mission of healing, but through physical touch. Massage therapy became the perfect path for Kathy, offering a meaningful way to support her clients' well-being and help them manage pain and stress.
Specializing in techniques like St. Johns Neuromuscular Therapy, which addresses pain management issues such as sciatica, Kathy also implements trigger point and deep tissue therapies to alleviate tension and promote relaxation. She stays updated on the latest techniques by taking specialized massage courses and learning from fellow therapists. Outside of work, Kathy is a passionate artist who creates stained glass windows, sculptural garden art, and mosaics. She also enjoys painting, hiking, camping, and spending time with her dog, Murphy. These creative and grounding hobbies help her stay balanced and bring a sense of mindfulness and renewal to her massage practice.
