Paula Henson
Paula’s love for hairstyling began at a young age, starting with playing with her aunt’s hair and eventually experimenting on friends in middle school with fantasy box dyes (results were questionable, but the passion was real!). That early curiosity turned into a true calling, leading her to pursue a career in hair where creativity and self-expression take center stage. While attending Aveda, one of the most meaningful parts of her experience was connecting with guests—learning their stories while helping them feel confident and beautiful.
Paula’s favorite services include hair color and perms, two areas where she gets to fully lean into her creativity and technical skills. She loves transforming hair in ways that feel fun, expressive, and personalized for each client. To stay inspired and up to date, Paula follows talented stylists on Instagram—especially fellow left-handed artists—always looking for fresh ideas and techniques.
Outside of the salon, Paula enjoys spending time with her family, her pets Tiny and Toulouse, and getting creative through crafts like tie-dye. She also has a deep love for photography, which influences her eye for detail, color, and composition behind the chair. All of these passions come together in her work, helping her create a welcoming, artistic, and feel-good experience for every client.
